Here's a question:
Why is there no room for leaving a comment on yesterday's entry about the December 2020 Fox release of Spielberg's reboot of the original 1961 film version of West Side Story? Is it because you don't want to hear/see any comments that differ with your opinion on it? I'm curious.

Re: Here's a question:
As the title page says, this is a celebration community for all aspects of West Side Story be it film, theatrical productions, concerts, etc.

So that's the way I want to keep it. It's my community, my rules.

I guess it's to each their own, then.
I like to celebrate West Side Story as well, but the upcoming re-boot of the 1961 film version of "West Side Story" is not something that I plan on celebrating in any way.

And that's ok, I just don't want to see dumping on something that hasn't even started filming yet. It could be brilliant or it could be terrible but it's too soon to decide.

I feel that people are entitled to express their opinions, for one thing.
For another thing, and for all kinds of reasons that I posted on here awhile ago, I feel that a re-boot/remake 1961 film version of West Side Story is totally unnecessary, and that it should've been left alone, that's all.
